The Drug Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, with a second revision, was passed by the 12th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Thirteenth National People's Congress on Aug. 26, 2019 and took effect on Dec. 1, 2019. The Law covers drug research & development and registration, marketing authorization holder, manufacturing, distribution, pharmacy administration in medical institutions, post-marketing management, stockpile and supply, regulation, and legal liability.
