The Provisions on the Administration of Drug Safety Credit Classification (Interim) was passed by Former China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) on Sep. 13, 2004. It is formulated in order to give full play to the supervision and management functions of drugs and medical devices, strengthen the credit awareness of drug and medical device production and operating enterprises and research and development units, and promote the formation of a unified, open, fair competition, standardized and orderly market environment, which includes:
