The Regulations on the Administration of Proprietary Identification for Non-Prescription Drugs (Interim) was issued on Nov.19, 1999. It is formulated in order to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines by the people, protect the rights and interests of consumers, facilitate drug law enforcement supervision, and standardize the order of the drug market.
